DES MOINES The Iowa Democratic Party today announced that the 2015 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
Four Democratic Presidential candidates are confirmed to be attending the 2015 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. All five candidates have been invited.
Lincoln Chafee
Hillary Clinton
Martin OMalley
Bernie Sanders
Each of the confirmed candidates will deliver a keynote address to outline their agenda to strengthen our economy and lift up working families.
The Iowa Democratic Party is excited to once again bring Democrats together from across Iowa for our annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, said IDP Chair Dr. Andy McGuire. On this historic night, we look forward to hearing our Democratic presidential candidates talk about policies that will strengthen the middle class and move our country forward. The 2015 Dinner will be a great opportunity for Iowa Democrats to come together and hear each candidate lay out their vision for the future of our country.
Tickets for the 2015 Jefferson-Jackson dinner can be purchased online here.

nb - I'm aware that the PR mention's five candidates and only lists four; that how it appears at the origin site.

We are turning a long-awaited page on that score.
This will be the last Jefferson-Jackson dinner for the Iowa Democratic Party. McGuire announced earlier this year that, after a vote by the state central committee, the party's annual dinner would no longer be named for former Presidents Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson.
The decision was made because the former presidents both owned slaves and the party is looking to have the "name of the dinner to align with the values of our modern day Democratic Party: inclusiveness, diversity and equality," McGuire said earlier this year.

Use your zoom!
This will never happen again--end of an era, and all that.
In many ways, this is "drawing a line under" old school campaign paradigms.
Nice to be a witness to history.
