Seniors prefer Romney but he is going to take away their benefits

I think it's time to 'educate' some seniors about Romney and what he will take away from them

They say they 'relate' to Romney,
they think he understands them,
that he's lived like they have, (yeah, right..)
shares their values...
they are sadly deluded.
The truth? He looks like their view of a president.
He looks 'presidential..'
i.e... he looks white.

Sad but true.

But after he takes his share, there's little left for the seniors to value. Buh-bye pension, it'll look great on Bain's bottom line.

White people much over sixty-five most often grew up taking White supremacy and Negro inferiority pretty much for granted through their years of child-hood and adolescence.

There seems to be an anti-senior bias in some of these posts. Please don't lump all folks over 65 or so into the same category. I, and most of the people I'm friendly with, have been life long democrats. We've supported progressive causes for longer than many of you have lived, and we're tireless workers for campaigns. Hey DUers over a certain age, lets show the youngsters how many of us there are and how much we support their causes.

Every time someone does an age survey here, it shows. Also, we need to remember the large number of people who fought for unions, and are now retired. They were Democrats, too.

I get sick of these generalizations. I have parents in their eighties. They were DEMOCRATIC election judges for forty-nine years.

I worked with them, and on my own, for many Democratic candidates. The first one I can remember was Adlai Stevenson. I was eight years old.

Stop the age discrimination, people.

social security. The guy is gaffe prone and will say it out loud somewhere. I can see him talking to a Ayn Rand libertarian group and will say it, hopefully someone will get it on tape and I hope the OFA uses it in a commercial and runs it during Judge Judy and other heavy senior popular shows. Also this voter suppression thing might keep some of them from voting. Unintended consequences, there are old white people who lack ID's also

And what Romney doesn't step in in the first debate, Biden will set up as an issue for later questioning in presidential debates two and three.

think you can vote for Robme and the teabaggers and sit back and watch everyone else's benefits get cut, you are in for a rude awakening. If they try and screw everyone else out of their Medicare benefits, the shit hits that fan and it will stay hit! We'll just end it all and cash everyone out.
