Majority of Americans want to vote out every single member of Congress

BY ALIYAH SHAHID / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Published: Friday, January 27, 2012, 11:56 AM

America wants to give all of Congress a pink slip.

The majority of registered voters — 56% — would vote out every single member of the House and Senate if there was a ballot measure to do so, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

The resentment is bipartisan, with 55% of liberals, 55% of moderates and 58% of conservatives wanting to wipe the slate clean of current legislators — even their own.

Just 13% of those surveyed said they approved of the job Congress was doing, with 80% disapproving.

That could mean bad news for incumbents on Nov. 6. In the Senate, 33 seats are up for grabs: 23 for the Democrats and 10 for the GOP. In the House, elections will be held for all 435 seats.

Newsflash: Majority of Americans are liars. They will happily vote for THEIR incumbent and at least 80% will be returned to office. My prediction.

crawling with "insiders," and then they go out and put lobbyists and politicians in the halls of Congress. In only a few instances did they elect someone who either wasn't already a politician or a former lobbyist.

Again, Americans are full of shit, especially the Teabaggers!!

with their head up their butt ... never seemingly seeing the light of day when they vote and totally in the dark as to the ramifications of their decisions ... then, they complain, how can this be happening. The teabaggers never cease to amaze me, especially the poor ones, they vote for all of the stuff that's taking them under.

Who are "my own?" Well, Bernie Sanders--even though he's not a Dem. Sheldon Whitehouse. Dennis Kucinich. Tammy Baldwin (although she's not there yet). Alan Grayson (even though he's not back in yet). No, I don't want to get rid of people like that.

On the other hand, I'm willing to sacrifice all the Republicans and at least half the Democrats, so I'm only in 3/4 agreement with the proposition to throw 'em all out.

Who want to keep Kingston, Chambliss and Isakson too (To list those who (puke) represent my district). The point is people aren't willing to toss out people they directly vote for.

You of course can't vote for all of those you have listed. How about your own Congresscritters? You have a Wisconsin avatar, would you be willing to toss out your rep if it meant that people like Boehner were tossed out also?

Both my most recently-elected Senator and my Rep are fucking Teabaggers who slithered into power in the same 2010 debacle that brought us Walker.

Big money and big business have too much influence on our politics. Until that issue is resolved its business as usual no matter who is elected.

THE MESSAGE FOR 2012 - VOTE OUT ALL THE INCUMBENTS!!!
