Sanders’ plan is to pressure lawmakers by pulling people back into the political process who have left it.
“What we have to do is bring together millions of people, often young, often lower income and working class people who have given up on the political process. And when those people come together, yes, we will be able to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour over the next few years, yes, we will make public colleges and universities tuition-free,” Sanders said.
