His grandfather had eleven good reasons for fleeing to Mexico: the wives the state of Utah told him to get rid of.

This calls to mind a strange conundrum: the Republicans have been working overtime to claim Obama is not a natural born citizen (even though both Honolulu papers have his birth announcement in their morgues, complete with the name of the Honolulu hospital he was born in) but in 1968, they would have been perfectly happy to allow George Romney, born in Mexico of two parents who renounced their US citizenship, to run for president on their ticket.
