Call to Latino community to make the Democratic Party work for their votes

http://time.com/3462339/latino-vote-2016-democrats-immigration/

The article is rather harsh on President Obama, but I think the community is tired of waiting on immigration reform and it seems like there is a call in the Latino community to make the Democratic Party work for their votes.

...the Democrats more broadly–are starting to see Latinos as a political football to be tossed around when it suits their political needs.

That line really struck me because I think that is how minorities are treated in general by politics.

How the Democratic Party keeps AA's on tge plantation. Too similar. This guy is probably some Los Angeles Hispanic thinking he can start speaking for all Hispanics.

Having a sister in law who spent all of last year helping the children at the border as an immigration lawyer, I have heard that it is overwhelming and it is going on too long.

H said she would send them back. Not a very inspirational point to have.

start protesting actively to put pressure on the Dems.

Just think if the Black Live Matter movement, LGBT protestors and women's health activists joined in.

We'd have some powerful movement there.

My point is, don't wait. Get in the streets to get results.
