Hillary's Iraq war speech was filled with lies

Particularly this paragraph. Saddam didn't have the WMD we sold him any more.
And even Joe Lieberman said that Saddam Al Qaeda connection was unproven, yet she stated it as fact.

In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001.

The only excuses for her saying that are ignorance or dishonesty.

She basically did what most Democrats did, so I have no special beef with that. I do think those members of our congress who refused to vote for the resolution and called out the administration on its phony claims deserve special recognition, and my vote.

In the Senate, 29 Democrats voted aye, 21 voted nay. Independent Jeffords who caucused with the Democrats also voted nay.

In the House, 82 Democrats voted aye, 126 voted nay. Independent Sanders who caucused with the Democrats also voted nay.

his staff about this. She did not know at the time she was being told lies. One does not automatically think that presidents lie. I wish many more who thought they were lies raised the roof about it. I still think prison would be good for Cheney and group.

When I saw Powell on TV, I knew it was all a lie. We need more people in congress who are willing to stand up to the president once in a while, particularly when it comes to invading other countries.

works. Powell has recently said he was not really sure about Iraq, but that is no excuse. If he knew it then he should have told us. Since 2000 we have had nothing but trouble due to Republicans.

Either makes her unacceptable as a president.
