So, my impression of the debates...

Sanders: Took every question out back and whupped its ass. Damn good showing.

O'Malley: He's first in line for second place! Seriously I don't think I've ever seen someone campaign so hard for vice president.

Clinton: I haven't seen evasion like that sicne the first matrix movie. She had a few high points, and definitely means it when she's on the topic of parental leave.

Webb: At least his old buddy Jack Daniels still loves him *glug, glug, glug* Seriously? This guy is trying to get on our ticket?

Chaffee: Did he even show up? Dude got liek three questions, and flubbed all of them.

TOP TIER

Clinton: poised, confident and ready with her answers. Maybe a bit too polished at times but all in all did a good job.

Sanders: My homeboy, genuine, passionate smart. Love his grumpy old grandpa schtick only it's not schtick--it's him.

Hard to pick between those two but I have to hand it to Bernie. Took charge over that e-mail exchange, came off like a mensch and got his main debating points in too.

SECOND TIER

O'Malley: He did good, real good. Actually mentioned Glass Steagall before Bernie.

DISAPPOINTING

Webb: I was really looking for some good old fashioned populism and didn't find it. I'm guessing Sanders stole his thunder.

Chafee: Nice guy but pretty lame. That "I was too new to understand that Glass Steagall vote" thing was really disappointing.

and that was disappointing.

At least there's five of them. I'm sure some people will find things they like enough to construct a choice.
