Sign of "our" ultra-short attention span and love of shiny objects....Mitt's Taxes?!?!?

And by "our" I mean the US in general and the MSM in specifics - we have a possible criminal act (and it not criminal, certainly unpatriotic and blatantly hypocritical and greedy) essentially vanishing from the news/public narrative in the blink of an eye.

Holy shit - we are talking about someone running for president, for f* sakes.....how can this NOT be a major story, every day?

In what must seem like a consistent theme from me lately as I comment on what I see going on...

I, too, have made a post seeking to return attention to the problems at the TOP of their ticket.

Keep up the good work. We appreciate it!

convention.

If we can set an impression about him before that happens, whatever they say at their convention won't stick ... and then the Dem convention can EXPAND the playing field ... taxes, medicare, Bain, Bush policies ... on and on.

My sense is that the Obama campaign has very strong micro targeting.

Like in Iowa, he punched Ryan in the throat on the Farm bill ... very smart.

Obama's campaign will be running targeted ads on a wide range of selected issues, selected on the state, and the voter groups he needs there.

I also think that Obama is holding back a little on the tax issue because he wants to hit Romney in the debates by pointing out that Romney's taxes matter because a critical issue for the future of the economy is taxes. Obama is going to be able, I think, to say that in the debates, and those who aren't paying attention now will hear that and say ... "ah, yes".

The other thing I think I see is the Obama campaign nailing Romney from every angle. Body blow, body blow, right jab, right jab, upper cut ... and Romney is just covering up ... "let's not discuss Bain, taxes, Ryan's plan, Romneycare, Massachusetts, my foreign policy ... ouch ouch ouch!!! ... MOM, he's hitting me!!!"

the Ryan talk is fine...but TAXES need to come back to the forefront of the conversation...especially since Ryan gave Romney two years(?) and that's more than we have seen from Rmoney!

let's get back on track people!!!

Obama comes up with a solid, pointed, hard-hitting way to nail Romney about his tax returns during the debates.
