Ryan says that the vouchers will still be called "Medicare", so if we say he's going to end Medicare, he will simply refute it. It is better to say that he's going to substitute public insurance with a voucher system that puts health care out of reach for most low-income seniors.

..put it away in a safe place.

Once Paul Ryan (and maybe even Obama) issue worthless paper vouchers for your hard-earned money... there will be no further record of your account.

period. They've been trying to kill those program's since their inception. Any "tweeking" they propose, be it vouchers or some other shiny object, are mere distractions. They know they can't kill the programs outright, so they've resigned themselves to killing the programs piecemeal.

If you or your family rely, or plan on relying on these programs, do not vote republican.
