Cummings pointed out the politicial focus of this committee. There have already been at least 2 other nonpartisan committees to look at this. This committee was set up for the sole purpose of taking Hillary down.

So far, the only two Dem candidates that have officially announced - that I know of - are Chris Van Hollen and Donna Edwards. I personally prefer Edwards, but Van Hollen has a lot of early backing and a LOT of $$$$ so far.
