Does anybody else think Ann Romney is deliberately sabotaging her husband's campaign?

Some have said she really didn't want him to run again, and she certainly isn't helping. Her anger practically burns right through the screen when she's on TV. I think it may be more than just distaste at having to deal with the ones she so dismisses as "you people."

She and Willard, both, are wayyyyyyy to deep in an entitlement mindset to believe they should be held accountable for much of anything.

who, just like her husband, hasn't a clue how to behave when interacting with "little people" or those pesky reporters who commit heinous acts of lèse majesté by daring to ask questions. I think she'd love to be First Lady; I think she thinks she deserves it because she and Mittens are so fucking special.

Didn't she say something like "it's our turn," or "it's Mitt's turn" to be in the white house?

so likely her, too. One can only imagine what her life has been as a Mormon woman with 5 sons and married to Mitt. I think OP is on to something. Maybe not entirely deliberate, but to watch her life as she knew it become some kind of a carnival of "those people", plus the factor of her health, sorry to say but I think Mitt's ego ran over them all, as usual.

She expects it to be handed to her like everything has always been. I think she believes her illness is her big cross to bear in life, poor thing. No idea how truly hard life is for others - people who get sick and don't have insurance or money or even a car or roof over their head. She has no clue.

Her anger is real and telling, imo, about how much she believes she is entitled to be the next First Lady.

of what she feels she and her husband are ENTITLED to have... the highest office in the nation. She is used to getting her way, without having to do what peons (the voting public) ask of her.

Ann seems to want the White House even more than Mitt. I don't think she is trying to lose the election for Mitt. I think she desperately wants to win and has displayed a sense of entitlement for a long time.

Remember when she said earlier this year that "It's our turn" ?

I don't know her personally, so this is just a guess, but she seems like one of those people who thinks that because they have a ton of money they must be really smart and people who don't have money must be really dumb. There's no cure for that except poverty, and I wouldn't wish that even on her.

Telling about the dog and the face-in-butter and such. Subconsciously, they know Mittens will be more insufferable than normally if he gets that prize and their lives will be more miserable than usual. Imagine how much he still is in their lives, even though they are grown up and married. If he's President, he'll be even more egotistical and sure he's right and should be in charge of their lives.

This could be the case here, too. And for 4 years, Ann would have to put up with the media talking about what she does, and she does not think she should be having to explain that or be judged on it. It may not look like much fun from their POV. She wants to be a Queen but may realize the FLOTUS is not a queen but a public servant.
