Since Paul Ryan has abandoned Any Rand for Thomas Aquinas,

here are some quotes from Thomas Aquinas which may be of interest:

"He who is dying of hunger must be fed rather than taught."

"The truth of our faith becomes a matter of ridicule among the infidels if any Catholic, not gifted with the necessary scientific learning, presents as dogma what scientific scrutiny shows to be false."

"To bear with patience wrongs done to oneself is a mark of perfection, but to bear with patience wrongs done to someone else is a mark of imperfection and even of actual sin."

"Man should not consider his material possessions his own, but as common to all, so as to share them without hesitation when others are in need."

Paul Ruin is going to have to do some fancy tapdancing to explain his alleged change of heart.

His philosophy on the natural order of things that leads to everyone looking after one another because it's the virtuous thing to do flies in the face of Randian philosphy.

since he retroactively switched his admiration to Aquinas. And it was his staff who mailed out all those gifts of Atlas Shrugged without his knowledge, and he has no idea how his signature got in the front covers.

Or something like that....
