The Party of Thug, Bully and Bagger is taking a stand!

No more taxes for the damned Libs to look through...and we WILL put women in their place and rape if we choose. Besides, they gots to get that danged NON-white Kenyan, out of THEIR White House.

Sickening what has happened to America.

He said nothing inconsistent with their ideology. His mistake was not understanding female biology. I'll be honest and say I even have female friends who held this weird mystical idea, thinking that if they were the victim of rape, their own body would somehow "reject" pregnancy. There's no basis for it empirically, of course.

But the key thing he expressed was that he believes abortion is murder, and it should be illegal to abort under any circumstances. For that, the Republican elite are after him.

At the time I posted those poll numbers, I didn't know she had been down eleven points. Until this Akin mess, I hadn't been on top of the race in Missouri. All I knew was that Claire's seat might be in danger. When I saw that they were tied after his god awful, unbelievable comments, I realized that stupid is what stupid does and there are a lot of stupid people out there that will vote for them.

edited because I should never post as I'm running out the door.. way too many mistakes..

will the GOP funding apparatus and their PACs revist yesterday's decision to stop funding his campaign? If so, any remaining pretense of "principle" will have fully evaporated.

He's now running in a dead heat with McCaskill since this came out, so of course he thinks he can still win.

Sounds like bad news, but being from that state (MO), I have to say it's the first time I thought McCaskill had any chance at all.
