Washington Republican Campaign Committee has declared my congressman as the number one target

I got this email from my congressman, John Tierney, who is being challenged by a candidate that supports the Tea Party.

The head of the Washington Republican Campaign Committee has declared John Tierney as the number one target of Republicans in the entire country.

We knew the right-wing had set their sights on us: $1 million of television ads bought by Paul Ryan's PAC against us, $2 million by the Republican Leadership, millions more threatened by right-wing allies. But this makes it official: John Tierney is their absolute top target, and the right wing machine is training all of its firepower right here on us in Massachusetts.

John Tierney wrote the Green Jobs act. Helped lower student interest rates. Wrote the law that is holding insurance companies accountable and giving 160,000 Massachusetts families $140 back this year. Our opponent Richard Tisei called the Tea Party "a godsend." He thinks the Ryan Budget that ends Medicare to give more tax breaks to millionaires is "a good start." He would vote for Paul Ryan and this right-wing Republican Congress that is so extreme that they even tried to narrow the definition of rape last year like their candidate Todd Akin.

If you can spare $, please help. My area cannot afford to lose John.
