Rasmussen Poll: McCaskill Leads Akin By 10 Points

Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill has a wide lead over Republican Rep. Todd Akin in the wake of his comment about "legitimate rape," according to a new poll from Republican-leaning Rasmussen.

McCaskill leads Akin 48 percent to 38 percent. The survey of 500 likely voters was conducted Aug. 22, and has a 4.5 percent margin of error.

McCaskill has taken the lead in the PollTracker Average, 46.3 percent to 40 percent

Claire ran ads attacking Akin during the primarys to help him get nomination.Akin Is who she wanted to run aginast.Of course
little did she know he would help her that National republicans are pulling out of missouri to avoid connection to Akin as much as
possable.
