Related: About this forumGallup poll finally changes - Obama & Romney TIED
After 7 days of being the odd man out and being the only one showing Romney with a lead day after day, Gallup's numbers have finally changed.
Romney finally lost his +2 lead. Obama went up 1 and Romney went down 1, resulting in a tie.
Does this mean Romney's bump may be subsiding?
Obama 46% = +1
Romney 46% = -1

(954 posts)5. Single snaptop national polls are pointless to discuss
National polls in general are pointless at this point, given that it's really about swing states.
If we want to make something out of national polls, then look at TRENDS across the averages of the polls.

(40,416 posts)6. I just don't understand why we have national polls for Pres.
They are more or less meaningless under our form of elective process. With the electoral college a national poll is irrelevant.
