50 state strategy

Howard Dean was right to implement one. The RNC has one in place and it's a big part of the reason Bevin won in Kentucky. And it's a big reason any Republican can out perform Democrats in 2016. They have stacks of hundred dollar bills to spend doing it.

In 2008 Dems were extremely passionate and mobilized. And people hated Bush and what he did. Well, now people hate Obama. And what is happening on DU shows a real hatred of each other. I think we may be doomed if we don't admit how much we will hurt the cause of democracy. The GOP is primed and ready to take over everything. They have patience and a huge leg up

Today I read about another strategy that right wing militias are implementing - infiltrating fire departments to prepare for revolution. This is another kind of 50 state strategy. Have the left the will to do something similar like infiltrate local Democratic clubs and win arguments in our own communities? I doubt it. We seem to want to elect a president to just make everything right. And that wrong-headedness is terifying.
