(36,418 posts)Considering that Indys are the largest voting bloc, that is reason to stop celebrating her lead in the nomination and find a candidate with lower negatives going into the General. Don't tell us we didn't say anything about the bus with no brakes, and peddle to the metal, with a hairpin curve coming up.

(17,469 posts)But firmly believe she will beat any of the these KKKlowns who run. So would Sanders.

(17,469 posts)I wouldn't compare her to BH. In my opnion, BH was pretty much on her own side, and that was whatever kept the lime light on and the money flowing.
Wonder what she is doing these days?

(36,418 posts)Stop trying to blame Bernie and his supporters for something that largely predates this election cycle. Most Americans simply don't trust her and she's done herself no good in this regard by operating an unauthorized private email server in an effort to avoid FOIAs and subpoenas. She shot herself in the foot.
You should probably check those numbers.
Clinton 46%
Trump 43%
Clinton 40%
Carson 50%
Clinton 41%
Rubio 46%
Clinton 43%
Cruz 46%
Clinton 41%
Christie 46%
You can also take a look at the recent NBC/WSJ poll in which Clinton beats repubs, but when they actually polled Bernie in the same match ups, he did better than her in every single one. Like another commenter points out, ALOT of ppl despise her--and she is seen as a very divisive person in politics, which will hurt her in GE
You believe that shit huh?

(2,188 posts)Let's be realistic though. I think with the public informed, Clinton would easily beat Carson or Trump. Probably Cruz too, he's a good debater but too far right. I think Rubio would beat her. Mitt Romney picked the wrong year to run, because he would clean her clock.

(16,064 posts)she will bring out the vote but it won't be democrats she brings to the polls.......
the republicans have bee preparing for this for decades...she's toast. We will have a president trump or carson or cruz and he will have a republican senate and house brimming over with tea party lunatics....thanks

(16,286 posts)Hillary is, yet the ONLY place I ever heard that before was from rightwingers.
Fact...so, I wonder what that all means.

(47,803 posts)Unscientific obviously, but over the years that has been a fairly consistent them when she comes up in conversation. (And not from me doing any goading.)

(47,803 posts)DU is the only place where people aren't crazy for Clinton.
They'll end up voting for her, but without much enthusiasm, just to keep the GOP out. But beyond that...
randys1
(16,286 posts)and I didnt say only place
and someone says despised and others chime in
If you want to help the GOP in their ONLY chance at winning, which is to convince people NOT to vote, then that is what happens when you do this stuff.
you didnt say it
this person did

and some folks AGREED with it, thus contributing to the GOP agenda, whether they know it or not, and some folks like me fight against that crap.

(14,177 posts)and most swing states aren't going to do that. I forget how many are swing states. But, Iowa is one I think and they almost always go blue despite being called a swing state.
pinebox
(5,761 posts)and do you know why that is?
Many Bernie supporters won't vote for her, indy voters won't vote for her. People will stay home because they see it as a no win situation.
Why do you think Trump and Carson are doing so well among cons? The answer is simple.....they're not politicians. That's the draw.
If Hillary is the nominee, Dems lose. She has no inspiration outside the Dem bubble. None.
Mark my words now.

(22,340 posts)That's Ohio/Florida, for those not following along.
Go ahead and make substantial differences between Kasich and Clinton. Kasich will appeal to the moderates. People can talk all they want about Sanders being a socialist and that being a problem, but when she seems very similar to the liberal Republican, there's going to be trouble.
