2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTar Heel Poll-Clinton 57% Sanders 24%
Registered voters who are self-identified Democrats or Independents who lean Democratic were
asked who they would vote for if the presidential primary were held today. Three candidate
names were read to respondents with names rotated randomly.
Hillary Clinton is still the clear favorite among Democratic voters in North Carolina. Fifty-seven
percent said they planned on voting for Clinton, a 33 point lead over Bernie Sanders 24 percent.
Clinton's support is up 4 points from the September survey. Martin O'Malley had less than 3
percent support. Nearly 14 percent of Democrats or Democratic leaning Independents are still undecided

(17,651 posts)NC is in such a whacky mess right now it's not even funny anymore.
A POS was elected Gov., the baggers came out in mass quantities last few elections and I really think we're in the middle of a D voter apathy problem. Dems are trying to get Roy Cooper going as a challenge. Who knows?
I won't even waste a coin flipping who turns out what at this moment.

(17,651 posts)My family and I are transplants from NJ although my grandparents had roots in SC. Been here almost 20 years.
Lived in Fayetteville for about 8 years then moved out in the rurals when our house burned down in 05. Really nice here but this county I'm in is redder than a diaper rashed baby's butt.
One good piece of news IS that NC is capable of turning purple so it would be awesome if Dem leadership does not give up on us.
