Were there any other Senators or reps who thought a primary challenge of Obama would be a good idea?

I don't recall what exactly happened in 2011. Sanders made it clear that he thought a primary challenge of Obama was a good idea.

Were there any Democratic Senators or House members who thought a primary challenge of Obama would be a good idea?

Was Sanders alone?

Do you think Bernie's lack of endorsements from Democratic members of Congress has to do with his call to primary a sitting Democratic president? At the moment, there are only two members of Congress endorsing him.

Jimmy Carter had Ted Kennedy.

And in President Johnsons second term, he called it off but there still was
Senator Eugene McCarthy of Minnesota.
Senator Robert Kennedy of New York.
Vice President. Hubert Humphrey.
Senator Stephen Young of Ohio.
Attorney General Thomas C. Lynch of California.
Governor Roger Branigin of Indiana.
Governor Dan Moore of North Carolina.

Running against him.

Helped them take Jimmy Carters white house after one term.

I think that thing he did probably did not help him win over very many democrats.
