need help abt Obama honored Armstrong pic...

This is the first I've heard of this, but the RW nuts are inundating the internet and my Facebook feed that Obama supported Armstrong with a picture of himself with a crescent moon and a star - symbol of Islam.... (sigh) I can't find anything that triggered this attack - just the attacks. If this was discussed, my apologies - I don't have search rights but browser search on several pages. everthing they spew is nonsense - but they usually twist and contort something real to get there - and I was surprised how much this picture is spreading. I just wanted to know what triggered it. No question they're lunatics because they really believe this crap. If I respond your full of sh.t - and they send me to something legit, then ... that's not good either. The photo was released on August 6th to commemorate the Mars landing. It had NOTHING to do with Neil Armstrong.

12. That picture was not released for Armstrong...

It was released during the Mars probe landing. Somebody is again lying. Please look at Obama's FB page, where you'll see the picture and the accompanying caption. I can't do it right now because I'm in a meeting and my work has blocked FB.
