There way for the Sanders camp to spin this. They cannot handle foreign policy and national security emergencies.

I damned sure don't want somebody who gets pissed off that there are some current event questions in a debate running national security and foreign policy.

.............“It was a little bit of a bizarre scene. The Sanders representative, you know, really laid into CBS and basically … kind of threw like a little bit of a fit and said, ‘You are trying to turn this into a foreign policy debate. That’s not what any of us agreed to. How can you change the terms of the debate, you know, on the day of the debate. That’s not right,’” the staffer recounted.

Another person who was on the call confirmed to Yahoo News that Longabaugh had a lengthy dispute about the changed plans for the debate format on the call with CBS. The Sanders campaign declined to comment.

But the Sanders camp also has a pretty good argument that the terms of this debate were agreed a long time ago, preparations and plans have been made. And this was never supposed to be a foreign policy debate.

Does this debate have a theme?
CBS News’ John Dickerson told The Des Moines Register he plans to focus the debate on the economy — especially wages and income inequality. Even health care, education and retirement issues will revolve on the axis of finance. “The goal of the moderator is to illuminate the views of the candidates on the issues that matter the most to voters, and you don’t need to be on the side of the party to do that,” Dickerson told the newspaper.
