To get anything done you have to be a real American...

Did I hear Romney say that at one point or not? I tried to post last night but couldn't get on DU. I'm going to listen again and see. If so, there's his jab at Obama that he's not American.

Mitt Wit has spoke since he was born, I'm poor, FDR was rich, FDR did more for poor people than all the UPSTARTS ,who though they could claim humble beginnings,Trickie Dick, Ronnie Rayguns, or the generational misanthropes like Poppy, his nazi father and his adorable son the idiot king, ALL who victimized those people they claimed to be, Us. FDR smoked a cigarette in a holder and didn't appease an image, he was himself and in the process was our greatest protectors and leaders.

I just watched that part again...he supposedly was talking about Neil Armstrong..but he was taking a jab at the President and the audience knew it. He said when you want to do something really big, you need a real American. They knew exactly what he was talking about and they stood up and applauded. Why didn't he just say an American?

Because I just watched a video of the speech and he doesn't say "real" American in what I watched (around the 10:30 mark) -

I would have sworn that's what he said on t.v. last night and then again this morning when I played it back. I'm either deaf or these crazy Republicans have made me crazy.
