I would like to applaud DWS for scheduling 3 of the first 4 debates on the weekend

Many of us have trouble watching debates on weekdays, especially those of us in the pacific time zone.

Having the debates on the weekend, especially during the holiday season, works out perfectly for my schedule.

Thank you Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

casual exchanges. Are the Dems holding debates??? But they have watched the Repub debates and know their message.

It is not just about 'a candidate' it is also about getting your message out to people on issues. Honestly I am not sure the Dems could screw this up any better than they are already doing.

It is as if we are holding the door open for the other party.

All you need to do is look at the number of viewers between the last Dem debate and the Repub debate to see the message is being marketed to more people. You cannot win voters if you do not get your message out to the largest number of people.

As Senator Byrd said to an empty chamber in opposition to the invasion of Iraq 'we might as well hang a sign in front saying "Gone Fishing."

So many were not paying attention and not questioning what the administration was marketing at that moment.

How can you support someone if you barely know their name? How can you support an issue if it is not advanced? Many people have heard the 'other side' but not so much from our party.

It was smart scheduling on her part, and even if a person can't see the debates, there's YouTube and TiVo just in case. There's not much of an excuse for a person to miss any debates if they're genuinely interested, unless maybe if they can't afford cable or Internet. As far as the ratings go in comparison to the GOP debates, I'm not surprised that they're lower and that the Dem debates are portrayed as "boring"; none of our candidates act like drooling neanderthals, and they're discussing real issues while the GOP debates are a political version of Bad Girls Club.
