@HillaryClinton is right: I do support paid family leave. She should tell the American people how she'd actually pay for it.

How Hillary Clintons Paid Family And Medical Leave Policy Would Have Helped These Iowans
"The United States loves to view itself as a world leader and pioneer in human rights issues. In reality, we are one of only three countries that do not provide some type of paid maternity leave, an issue that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has made a centerpiece of her campaign. She released a video on Mothers Day that calls for guaranteed paid family leave, and she has since addressed the issue with enthusiasm. Women who want to work should be able to do so without worrying everyday about how theyre going to take care of their child or what will happen if a family member gets sick, Clinton said July 17 at the Hall of Fame Dinner in Cedar Rapids, just one of many Iowa events that saw her promoting paid family leave."
He has gone full negative and looks a bit frantic.

(85,998 posts)...Hillary has also 'gone negative' in this campaign.
I haven't had one thought of defining that as 'frantic.'
On the other hand, your slam of O'Malley looks a bit anxious.

(85,998 posts)Did you miss that the O'Malley campaign is responding to Hillary's attack on the governor's position?

(13,069 posts)It is definitely ugly here in DU land. And I understand why everyone takes things personally and the first response is to attack.

Sorry if my comment that, "your slam of O'Malley looks a bit anxious" found offense with you. I really meant it in the mildest of terms, almost tongue-in-cheek.
Thank you for posting your rebuttal to O'Malley's remarks (sans, of course, the rw stuff).

(26,549 posts)O'Malley doesn't say Clinton does not support paid family leave. He's asking Clinton to actually release her plan to pay for it, since Team Clinton is attacking O'Malley for having a plan that actually pays for it.
Your article does not include how Clinton plans to pay for it.
