AgingAmerican
(12,958 posts)There is no excitement around her, outside the sycophant bubble.
JoePhilly
(27,787 posts)I have absolutely no doubts about that.
whatchamacallit
(15,558 posts)Many of them have problems with elitist corporate hawks. RWers should be quite comfortable with her IMO.
JoePhilly
(27,787 posts)And they won't sit idle and allow them to take control.
whatchamacallit
(15,558 posts)Take control of what, economic or foreign policy? They've had control of those since Reagan. Save your simplistic fearmongering for simpletons.
JoePhilly
(27,787 posts)... you think you are in some way special, and that you get to speak for all the "true liberals". You don't.
And comments like the one you made above remind me why I take almost nothing you say very seriously.
whatchamacallit
(15,558 posts)"This is what ________ would do" nonsense. News flash: you don't speak for them either.
JoePhilly
(27,787 posts)... Hillary supporters "sycophants" ... which immediately tells me to not take you seriously.
A point which gets confirmed with just about every post.

(23,720 posts)real liberals understood how dangerous the the gop and their bagger friends are then too, yet.....
... someones sat idle and allowed them to take control of congress.
I wouldn't be so sure they won't sit idle this time either if I were you. Can you say President Trump?
JoePhilly
(27,787 posts)Trump is a clown who will never be President.
And if liberals stay home in 2016, then they will deserve the Theocracy that a GOP President would create.
AgingAmerican
(12,958 posts)Trump won't be the nominee.
If Hillary loses the general it will be DWS/Hillary and her supporters faults.
notadmblnd
(23,720 posts)and they will control all 3 branches of government. It won't matter if liberal Dems stay home or not republicans will come out in droves to vote against her.
CoffeeCat
(24,411 posts)...and half of our party can't stand her. Turnout among Democrats will be low simply because we won't have the enthusiasm for her, that we had for Obama.
It's doing to be a bloodbath and we would lose if Hillary was our nominee.
It's going to be either Rubio or Trump and and they would beat her.

Seems to me the OP is kind of a snark piece

But I guess being perpetually disgruntled will do that to a person.

(47,803 posts)If the people who think debates don't really matter, and it's fine to limit and place them in TV ratings dead zones, will feel the same about the GE debates with the GOP.
Okay, maybe a little snarky, but there is an honest question there.

(30,058 posts)time, I am old but I still record. I work on Saturday nights, I record, I can hear as much on recorded shows as I can hear on real time. It does not matter to me if the debates are held at the same time as the Super bowl, I will still record and view at my convenience. In fact if there was less viewing of last Saturday's debate it was better for your candidate, his foreign affairs experience really showed, it would have been best for less people to see.

Thinkingabout
(30,058 posts)Search for the transcript or YouTube for the debates if desired. This saying access to the debates because they were on whatever date and time is silly.

(31,849 posts)Week night airings, means I will likely miss some of the debate because of work ... But, then, I just go to the internet and see what I missed.

(4,822 posts)I seriously doubt more debates in prime time would have helped Bernie Sanders, hell, DWS might have been doing Bernie a favor since he did so badly in the others.
