Gallup - Obama (+1) for the 3rd day in a row

Just checked Gallup's Daily Tracking poll which is released at 1:00 pm.

Obama is ahead for the 3rd day in a row (although that may change once the Romney 'bounce' filters through).

GALLUP [Obama +1]

Obama - 47

Romney - 46

Mittens could have gotten a small bump and it wouldn't have moved the numbers. All the indications I have seen so far is that if there is a bump it is going to be a small one.

Nate Silver says he thinks both nominees may get only small bumps this year.

But that probably hurts Romney more than it does Obama since Romney is the challenger and is less well-known who needs to introduce himself to voters.
