(114,904 posts)Honestly, I don't believe it makes any difference who a Congress critter endorses as to whether or not they'll be re-elected.
Welch hasn't endorsed anyone.

(31,849 posts)Had you asked two years ago, my answer would have been "I have a Republican Rep., but a Democrat will win the seat in 2016."
But Martha McSally has failed to show the lunacy promised by her campaign ... She voted in favor of raising the debt ceiling, and opposed the food stamp cutting Bill ... so people aren't horrified by her.

(16,375 posts)Dupage has historically been blood red. But.a couple of Democrats have managed to break through. To increase the number of Democratic districts, the legislature pushed as many pub voters as possible into one district under the leadership of Peter Roskam. Roskam was a founder of the Illinois Policy Institute aka the Illinois branch of ALEC.
That's my district.
Worse yet, I moved here from Evanston, where Jan Schakowsky was my representative.
Karmic payback?
