3. I thought Hillary fans would throw $ in the kettle

Wasn't that obvious? I hope he gets elected. I have donated in the past including this election cycle. He won't get another dime from me. Between that and TPP Dems, I'm not donating anymore to several that got $ from me before.

Also I'd rather spend my money on races closer to home, like winning against Ayotte.

I gave $ to him when he ran. He is on his own with a lot of people now. He is another that switched party affiliation to run as a D.

7. So, a former Republican is supporting another former Republican?

Not surprising.

ETA: Although it's well-known that Hillary is a former Republican, I can't find any info about Grayson being one.

2. The actual 'endorsement' is a matter of dispute, you know.

http://floridapolitics.com/archives/194910-say-it-aint-so-alan-grayson-endorses-hillary-clinton

Grayson’s inclusion on the Clinton Florida Leadership Council leads an observer to consider two possible scenarios.

The first is that Grayson is (finally) endorsing Hillary Clinton. But in doing so, he moves decidedly to the center, brazenly putting himself in a better political position to face Murphy in the Democratic Senate primary. However, this strategy only serves to push Grayson away from his Sanders/Daily Kos base, essentially thumbing his nose at his most fervent supporters.

The other can be summed up in two words: “my bad.”

In this instance, Grayson is not REALLY endorsing Clinton – which would not be surprising for someone known (charitably) as a “loose cannon.”

My theory? He's making nice in order to curry some favor with the DCCC for his Big Pharma lobbyist-girlfriend, who is running for his Congressional seat (and against one of Grayson's senior staffers, among others). Now she's WAAAAY more establishment than he is, and she's been forcing him to dress more like an adult and get better haircuts....so maybe he's taking a new tack...?

We already know Jon Tester isn't in his corner. He's going to have to use his own money.

She has inked a deal with Sanders to do joint fundraising from here on out. So he will, at long last, be helping to pay for the convention and the general election expenses.
