The Daily 202: Takeaways from the latest Hillary Clinton e-mail dump

Newly released HRC emails are out, release date is November 30, 2015. From an email from Penn to HRC re the Benghazi hearings:

While Hillary’s closest aides at Foggy Bottom were celebrating the hearing – they thought the boss crushed it – Penn warned that she had hurt herself. “I don’t think the emotion in the hearing works to your advantage,” he wrote. “Looks more like they rattled you on something no one outside the crazy right blamed you for anyway.” Penn had prodded Clinton to come across as Thatchersque in her 2008 battle with Barack Obama.

Maybe it's just me, but I find Hillary to be far too Thacher like as it is. Some other interesting email quotes at the site as well: I found it interesting that HRC called Romney "mittens!"

Which makes them identical, of course. No underlying misogyny at play in those comparison threads. Nope.

Yes, indeed, you've found some really damning stuff in those emails. Uff da!

...the Clinton administration. At the time, it was the GOP and talk radio who hated her, and spread lies and innuendo about her character. That seems to have rubbed off on some of our progressive brothers and sisters.

In fact I voted for Bill twice. I even believed, at the time, that she might be more liberal than Bill and might nudge to the left.

I don't hate the Clintons I just don't think they should hold public office.

Thatcher is known for Union busting, supply-side economics, higher taxes on low incomes and the lowering of taxes on higher incomes, anti-gay legislation, high unemployment, and doubling the poverty rate. Clinton has always been known for her liberal policies, and has earned the hatred of the right for that.

It is a true statement about the person making the claim, not a statement on Clinton.

Then again the same people that make that claim are all holding out hopes that Gowdy comes to their rescue. It's always about emails or some such right wing bullshit.

That is the worst fucking advice I have ever seen given to a candidate of the Democratic party!!!!!!!!
