So GWB kept us safe...listen...do you hear them?

Remember the color-coded warnings we used to get on CNN, FOX, etc...particularly at crucial intervals of elections...warning us to be alert of any signs there could be a terrorist attack? Bags left near buildings, strange cars, vans or trucks parked for long periods of time on city streets, people photographing key buildings in cities like New York.

It just dawned on me that I haven't seen/heard any terrorist warnings in a long time, so which president has done the best job in keeping us safe?

Gee, Cheney is up and about and everything. Wouldn't you think...

Bad, bad on me. Nasty bad on me.

This day just brought back the memory of those scares, which were no more than diverting our attention. They found a new toy and played with it.

They cannot leave the US for fear of being arrested on war crimes. Both would like to hobnob with European rightwingers but can't. Ain't that a shame.

never had a clue. I agree we should never forget the victims or heroes but we should also never forget the clowns that let it happen.

I hesitate to post something like, "thank God we have a competent administration that would never allow something like that to happen now!" That would create a minor shitstorm.

I just saw Bush speaking and declaring there would be a response to any country that was found to be involved in the attack. He meant to say, "except the Saudis'". We kind of forgot about them didn't we?

Sneaky, sneaky bunch, weren't they?

I forget what the total number of deaths were that were caused by anthrax.

They can no longer pull the wool over most people's eyes anymore, as Google will knock them down. In fact, on social sites, we should just post headlines to articles like you posted with no comment...let them see the truth is out there.

Too many people have been fed the lies for so long, they truly believe them. They have to be deprogrammed by the constant dribble of the truth.

Now, the problem is to find articles which have facts that are real.

they're all on my FB page.

Everyone who knows better than the "Bush kept us safe" propaganda should share these and other links and information on their blogs, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and wherever else they're online. This fake "Bush kept us safe" narrative is unacceptable -- and it simply is NOT true.

All the red flags, and Bush/Cheney did NOTHING to prevent it. Yeah, he kept us safe. NOT!!! A recent comment by a GOP friend said " Yeah, but he was only in office 8 months". So what? It was on his watch, and they knew something bad was going to happen regarding airplanes. He will go down in history as the worst president ever. The strange part is Rmoney makes Bush look like a king.
