Hillary is lowering herself to Trumps tactics...

Calling that out is not defending Trump.

Calling out that it's a proven failed approach is not defending Trump.

Calling out b.s. from any candidate is not defending Trump.

Calling out the fact that Sanders polls better against Trump than Hillary is not defending Trump.

What is actually enabling Trump is a candidate who chooses to lower herself to his tactics.

And what also enables Trump is when her fans not only deny it, but approve it.

You want to win the general election with either candidate? Then don't support tactics that Trump uses.

You aren't a supporter, haven't volunteered time or effort, and haven't given financially to her campaign.

That would be like Sanders giving a fuck about me - or anything I think or want for the country - since I am an O'Malley supporter.

I was a big Hillary supporter. I used to get very angry when I'd hear "No more Bushes or Clintons in the White House," thinking that there were TWO Bushes but only ONE Clinton, so we're owed another Clinton.

Then I started paying attention to her votes in the Senate. And realized she was more Republican than Democratic, and did not have my interests at heart.

Nevertheless, she does seem to care about my vote... everyone's vote. "Everybody should love me!" she exclaimed. How could EVERYONE love her? By being a chameleon... changing her accent and stated positions as needed to fit in. But she will revert to the same corporate lizard she is underneath once I'm no longer needed. So I see how you would think a candidate only gives a fuck about you as long as she/he has your vote, time, effort & money.

Has a candidate's ACTIONS prior to a campaign been in line with your interests? Then I think he/she DOES care about the same things as you, whether or not you've declared support or sent him/her money. It's a part of who he/she IS, rather than a cynical pandering.

I paid attention to all of the long term, 15, 20, 30 year politicians in Washington D.C. - it's a shell game. They promised shit that never got done. they are promising the same bullshit. And they want me to trust them now? Nope - not gonna do it. That's fine for you - I can respect that - but I've had enough of this older generation pissing on my back then turning around and telling me it's raining. New blood, fresh blood, young blood.

he's an OK guy and I'd have no problem voting for him. I get what you're saying about career Washington politicians! I do think Sanders is different though... consistent, outspoken, honest, a man of the PEOPLE, voting his conscience (and as I would like my Congresscritter to vote) no matter what the trend is.

Sanders is too weak to get elected president, partly because he can't speak the truth.

I wonder if some people even comprehend how inane they sound with their double standards.

We have different interpretations of strong/weak I guess.

To me, strong is being above the fray, not responding to the childish crap from the carnival barker.

However, it does seem like this stuff is firing up her base. I just hope it's a net positive when we get outside the base.

I'm truly not sure if you are supporting Trump or attacking Clinton at this point.

I like it. So should Bernie. I liked Bernie's response to the bathroom attack also. The alternative is to embrace him like Cruz is doing.
No candidate should let the opponent go unanswered.
