But is now solidly Democratic.

New York polls are interesting because although it's not a state whose outcome is in doubt, it can be a gauge of how well Obama is doing relative to 2008 levels.

In 2008, Obama won New York by 27 points, so it appears that he is doing just as well as in 2008 right now.

compared to the 1.5-2 million votes Dems win NY by now. A lot of Rockefeller Republicans back then. In 1980, I think John Anderson cost Carter New York.

I think one of the vulnerable House Republicans is one of the guys who was with the naked group of GOP Congressmen in the Sea of Galilee scandal.
