1. President Obama needs to go on the bully pulpit on the Jobs Act.

And hang that son of a bitch not passing around the Republican Congess's neck.

He needs to hit that hard and often.

2. I truly believe the race is NOW between the President, and the NeoCons from Bush's tenure.

Romney is an afterthought now. Once 9/11 anniversary and Cheney crept out of the cave again, and suddenly Bremer, and Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld, are the most visible characters right now... it's clear what is going on. They got impatient with Mitt and his disastrous campaign, and the GOP's disastrous duo, and they're trying to reel this thing in. They can't wait another four years to get their Defense Contract welfare, especially if the troops come home on schedule from Afghanistan. How will the NeoCons make money if we're not trying to kill people? How with the oil industry get more access in the ME if the NeoCons don't have a puppet in the White House.

Seriously.. this is now between Cheney and the President. Romney is an asterisk. And the shit we're seeing in the ME, and the accompanying Fox "news" talking points, interviews, and surrogates, are going for the touchdown with this.

After all, if there's one thing that I've learned crystal clear since Clinton's impeachment, it's to never underestimate what the Repubs are capable of.

Remember, the Repubs were in freefall right after Obama was elected, too....
