The Melanzanes

I was sitting at Dunkin” Donuts this morning with a group of friends. At the next table there were a couple of guys who I'm acquainted with but not really that well. One man is a well-off sales manager for a window company who I once had my house to get an estimate on window replacement. I knew he never liked Obama and is the kind of guy you just know you don't want to argue with so I don't

The guy with him I can best describe as looking “seedy” ...

The seedy looking man was saying how sad it was that looks like Romney's going to lose but the other man was saying not to give up faith and to keep fighting.

I wondered what it was they were both fighting for and why the wanted Romney to win and then I heard the answer.

The guy with the fine looking suit said "well if Obama gets in he will do everything he can to feed the “melanzanes” They both laughed in agreement.

And for those of you who may not know, “melanzane” is the Italian word for eggplant... eggplant is a vegetable with a very dark and shiny skin.
