TYT: Occupy Movement Infiltrated by Spies

" WASHINGTON — The Federal Bureau of Investigation used counterterrorism agents to investigate the Occupy Wall Street movement, including its communications and planning, according to newly disclosed agency records.

The F.B.I. records show that as early as September 2011, an agent from a counterterrorism task force in New York notified officials of two landmarks in Lower Manhattan — Federal Hall and the Museum of American Finance — "that their building was identified as a point of interest for the Occupy Wall Street."*

Are the people of the Occupy movement terrorists? They were investigated by the FBI as if they were. Why go to these measures? Whose interests are being protected, and whose are being stomped on? Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Even, Cenk would have filed this story there. However, he still has to explain to the naive. I was at a few Occupy Minneapolis events, even there we suspected infiltration. I didn't think of it too much, but I never said anything that could be construed as being terroristic either, this movement absolutely has to remain peaceful. Unfortunately we suspect some infiltrators incite violence or do things that could be perceived as a threat of violence. For example at the Minneapolis Occupy someone brought a box of rocks dropped them off then told the police they thought the Occupy people were going to start throwing them. But, the police found evidence that the person making the complaint was the one who dropped them off.

FBI agents infiltrated all of the organized protest groups and took thousands of photos of the protesters. I'd be willing to bet that in the early days, at least, the FBI was keeping a very close watch on the Tea Party movement. Every protest movement has the potential for violence. I have less of a problem with the FBI investigating the Occupy movement than with the brutality with which local police forces treated the protesters. That has been totally uncalled for.

to seem if the FBI wasted a bunch of money on this, or overstepped its bounds at all, or to establish some new rules restricting the FBI in the future.
