Dispatches From The War On Women: Tide Turns On Immigration, Even At SCOTUS

Yesterday the Supreme Court offered a stinging rebuke to Arizona and it’s “papers please” law. These ant-immigrant measures have a disproportionate impact on women and children, which maybe explains why Justice Scalia was so eager to uphold the Arizona law and so outraged the Court didn’t.

Now might be a good time to look at the impact of Arizona’s Mexican-American studies ban.

The Court also ruled that the Eighth Amendment prohibits sentencing juveniles to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
