4. we really hear a lot about our sexuality from others here on du.

these would be the same people declaring themselves feminist and how dare we in this room critique or discuss the pornification of women in society today. it is amazing that we cannot have a discussion, yet they feel they have the right to tell us about our sexuality.

anti sex. sexual hang ups. and on and on and on.

contradictions. hypocrisy. my pet peeve. at the least, be consistent in beliefs.

5. Interesting... when i was on the pro porn, pro objectification, pro prostitution side,

nobody on DU ever said boo to me about whatever they thought of my sex life or my thoughts about sex. And I know there were feminists who disagreed, I saw them voice their opinions in threads but I was never the subject of their discussions.

Now that I'm on the anti objectification, anti porn side, I see that the other side is completely willing to post such idiotic drivel about those they disagree with. Not all, of course, most on DU don't sink to those tactics (and those who do are mostly men, it is worthy to note).

I've been told this not by some strangers, but by some of my friends and family members. No wonder so many people don't want to be associated with feminism.
(btw, I'm not from an English speaking country, so I guess shit people say to feminists are universal across the globe)
