I didn't catch any of these comments in real time, as I don't watch those programs, but the level of discourse is pretty low, in fact, insulting.
These clips clearly demonstrate what the actual role of the media is in America, not to inform but to distract.
It is sad, because these ninnies are seen by their viewers as role models and authorities (when they are nothing more than gossip mongers) and then they, the viewing audience, mimic what they have witnessed and think it qualifies as intelligent debate.
