I will begin by saying that I have been a huge Facebook fan; I met my husband through mutual friends on Facebook, as well as partners for various women-oriented projects over the last few years. But something seems to have shifted latelynearly everyone I spoke to regarding this article shared the same conflicted sentiment: we have enjoyed Facebook for the connections it has brought us but feel we have been unfairly censored or punished.

(12,769 posts)I mean seriously why don't women understand how much effort has gone it to getting them the rights they currently have? I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the work unions did have been forgotten too.

(36,470 posts)Didn't some repub congresswoman recently say that women shouldn't be allowed to vote because we're too emotional? WTF? And the comment after the election that selfish women voted for Obama - we selfishly gave more consideration to having autonomy over our bodies than we did the fiscal cliff. WTF?
Mind boggling misogyny. Is it getting worse or does it just seem that way?
