He didn't post anonymously or pseudonymously on a message board. He sent her an email that included his real name.

There are many contexts in which I think that restricting or abolishing anonymous posting would improve the quality of the discussion. This instance isn't one of them, though. It shows that people will sometimes write garbage even when they're signing their real names. (Some DUers are ignoring me, so they would presumably agree with this generalization.)
