Update on my great nephew:

He is three pounds! He is doing great and my niece is too. Sister in law and I have been okay with each other, hatchets buried. We have a tiny fellow to take care of.

He got his first bath today:

We have a great NICU unit though! They did his first scan this week, no brain bleeds. Thank goodness! He is getting bigger and stronger everyday!

I am so proud of my baby girl ( niece ) she is doing so good with all of this! She is also pumping so much breast milk that she even was able to donate to the milk bank! I am so proud.

amazing to watch the women rise to the occasion. and to be fair, most men..... i hate leaving the father out cause i couldnt have done it without hubby. ok, well i probably could, but man, to have him do all he did.

Do they make clothes for preemies these days? I know when I was of child bearing age (my son will be 39 this month) moms resorted to doll clothes for their small ones.

Too many wires and other cords all over the body, clothing would be impossible I assume.

he does have little teeny diapers though, they are so small. The hospital provides them. They could fit a doll!

On edit: Happy Birthday to your son!!!

in his little temporary home. Thanks for the birthday wishes, he isn't too happy about pushing 40 , I told him "it could be worse, you could have a kid pushing 40!"
