With being choosy about with whom you procreate. The dude living in his childhood bedroom or mom's basement is not marriage material, much less procreation material.

which progressive, evolved women are, marry a troglodyte?

Come on, WSJ, you can do better.

I supposed the women should have 8 kids too like Putin is urging Russian women...to replace the cannon fodder losses in Ukraine.

none of the ladies will go out with them.

I'm sure it's not because they are loser misogynists who think women were put on this earth to make them babies and sandwiches.

De-centering men is getting more and more popular. Women of all ages all around the world are having consciousness-raising sessions online and finally realizing what a bad deal het partnerships almost always are.

Only the most brainwashed of handmaidens are falling for the tradwife BS - thoughtful women are de-centering men at least, some are going full 4B / 6B4T.

Money in the world for me to date a trumper incel abuser. If I was forced to marry a right winger I would just kill myself rather than endure or enable it . I hate right wing psychopaths and incels
They IMHO are not worthy of relationships because its all about them and they are shitty people.

campaign to shame them for having that standard.” They clearly outlined the demographics and politics that could lead to fewer marriages, but they never brought up the issue of children, and they stated the obvious, “...increasingly, the political is personal. A 2021 survey of college students found that 71 percent of Democrats would not date someone with opposing views. There is some logic to this. Marriage across religious or political lines — if either partner considers those things to be central to their identity — can be associated with lower levels of life satisfaction. And politics is becoming more central to people’s identity.”

While they did point to research that indicates marriage may have benefits in spite of political differences, they also pointed out that …"marriage isn’t for everyone. Nor is staying in a physically or emotionally abusive marriage ever the right choice.” they added, "These differences can’t just be papered over through good-faith dialogue — because they are real.” In addition they stated. "Marriage across religious or political lines — if either partner considers those things to be central to their identity — can be associated with lower levels of life satisfaction.”

It is clear the editorial board thinks marriage is a benefit to society overall, but I saw no attempt to shame anyone into getting married. It was more of an appeal to consider marriage as a benefit than heavy-handed shame campaign. Personally, I disagree with their view.
