(2,892 posts)I love cats and have been a cat mom.
When I was teaching my 3 class rules were:
Don't mess with my dogs.
Don't mess with my coffee.
Don't talk smack about my [Chicago] Bears.

(5,057 posts)My cat and I say Go Kamala!!
Childless by choice, and its the best decision I ever made.
That was the right decision for me. I adore my nieces and nephew and am proud of my sister for choosing a kind and loving partner, breaking the cycle of abuse in our family, and being a great mother.
I am so glad we have choices, and am fighting along side you all and Kamala to make sure it stays that way, and to restore the rights that have been stripped away from us.

(34,004 posts)Childless by choice, I knew at 15 what I wanted to do with my life would not be possible with pregnancy & child rearing.

(2,745 posts)I decided when I was 16 that the best gift I could give to future generations was to avoid breeding.
There's over 8 billion people on this planet and Spaceship Earth is struggling. As the Spirit Keeper for the Onondaga Nation says, I don't think that the laws of physics are going to be repealed for us.
I'm super grateful that my fertile years were during a time when women still had the right to choose.
And I have no shame nor regrets for choosing to provide a home and love for many cats. 😻😻😻
The fright wing doesn't care about kids at all, and what they have planned for women amounts to slavery and suffering. Their cruelty is the point.

(4,196 posts)and my grandson recently moved in with me. BUT they are completely outnumbered by nine cats (several extremely aged), and a huge dog. I think I fit into this category... not exactly an empty-nester any longer, but I have someone to help out with the critters and the house. And I REALLY took offense at his remark!

(832 posts)Thank you to all previous generations who made it possible for me to be able to make that CHOICE.
And to the childless cat/dog men who made the same choice, do you feel our frustration?
