help with videos

I can only watch the first few seconds of many videos on DU, then they turn to horizontal/ diagonal dashed looking lines for the remainder of the video. sound is fine throughout. if I restart, it goes to the same point and "lines" again. Other videos are fine, no problem.

Help!!????

I'm not having any issues viewing embedded YouTube videos here on DU using the iCab Mobile browser v10.2.3 on my iPad running OS version 14.7.1.

If people share what browser and platform they are using, others with similar setups can chime in if they are having issues as well. Or people with access to the same setup could try testing to see if they can replicate the problem.

If you can try watching a video that is causing problems in another browser or on another computer/device, it might help narrow down if it is specific to a particular piece of software or something affecting multiple browsers and/or devices.

Also try providing a link to a video where you see these problems. That way people can test the same exact video to see if there might actually be something wrong with that particular video. Sometimes computer problems occur at the server - if everyone experiences the same issue, that would be a reasonable explanation.

I would recommend trying to play problem videos in a different browser or two (Firefox, Vivaldi, etc.) to see if the issue is your browser.

You might also try posting in the Computer Help and Support forum:

Hopefully some Android users will see your post and can offer some advice.

You might also want to check out some Samsung/Android discussion boards to see if your issue is mentioned. For example:
