How to pick a username

After reading DU for a while, I signed up with a randomly generated username. I only post rarely (and sometimes wrongly, but I'm learning), and I would like to respond with a better handle. I grew up in the 70s, loved Smokey and the Bandit, was in to CB/Trucker culture, but I never came up with a good CB Handle. Now I have the same problem. How have you come up with your username? Any suggestions for someone who after over 30 years is still challenged in that area?
