Does everyone get a drop-down list when they start to enter a thread or reply title?

When I try to enter a title, I get a pulldown list of my previously entered titles. When it appears, it blocks most of my virtual keyboard.

To get rid of it, I generally type some random letters (from the bottom row of the keyboard, which is not blocked), which causes the pulldown list to go away, because those letters don't match any previous titles. Once the keyboard is available, I backspace over the random characters and enter my desired title.

It's a very minor thing, but I was wondering if it was a common issue and if there's a way to avoid it.

2. Browser feature

That's a function of your browser remembering form entry data.

It's either autofill or autocomplete...

In my version of the Brave browser, it's under Settings -> Addresses and more.

Too bad, I like when it offers to autofill an address, and that generally doesn't interfere with the keyboard. Ah, well, life is hard.

5. Come to think of it, this happens to me, too, it auto-fills a subject line I've typed before

Sometimes it's handy, saves having to type, like "K&R for the cartoons." But most of the time I have no intention of typing the same thing and it's stubborn, I have to back space out of it.
