Yellow highlighting in threads?

I am suddenly getting this on my Android phone.

Anyone else?

4. Yeah, I think anybody, and no it's not new today...

been happening for a while on my screen.

3. Check the three buttons at the top of the "reply tree"

Right below the OP, above where the reply titles are listed, there are three buttons that say "None," "5 Newest," and "Recommended" -- those buttons control which replies are highlighted, so you can chose your preferred view. ("Recommended" will highlight any replies with five or more recommendations.)
