Problem with yahoo. All of a sudden it does not react

I type in the search engine Democratic Underground, google, local library and nothing happens. I am here because DU is one tab. Same as Comcast mail that I can access. But in yahoo whatever I type just sits there. Turning on and off does no help. WiFi is OK. At least I can navigate DU.

After turning it off an on I did go to Yahoo and there was a split second notice about this webpae..

Any suggestions?

Thanks

and while I was with him I played with turning off the ad blocker and it worked. I still don’t understand why all of a sudden it does. No problem with my iMac Desktop nor with my iPhone.

Thanks for the link

They're usually temporary and the provider often fixes them and releases an update. Since it worked after you turned it off, I bet that was it. I've been having some issues with buttons on other sites not working, and it seems to be a similar problem.

Updates are often automatic, so it may have updated in the background and you wouldn't have even known. That's one way it could have stopped working even if it didn't seem like you did anything.
